The West Virginia Fleet Management Office strives to provide overall management services for over 7500 vehicles and to ensure that these vehicles are appropriate to the transportation needs of the users and to interface with all levels of State Government and coordinate the involvement of state agencies that lease and manage vehicles.
Comment Period for Rules, Guidelines, Policies, and Recommendations
West Virginia Code §29A-3-20 requires a comment period for all current rules, guidelines, policies and recommendations under the agency's jurisdiction. Please submit all comments regarding the Fleet Management Office's rules, guidelines, and procedures to the Fleet Mailbox at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than July 10, 2017.
The Fleet Management Office currently operates in accordance with the West Virginia Code §5A-1-2(f) and §5A-3-48 through 5A-3-53 and Code of State Rules 148 CSR 3. Statutory and Regulatory Authority.

The IRS/GSA issued the 2017 standard mileage rates used to calculate the deductible cost of operating an automobile for business purposes: Beginning January 1, 2017 the standard mileage rate for the use of a car will be $0.535.
